activities are as follows :
(1) Admissions to the
Chhatralaya (Boarding) for
the current year are completed and
the students have joined the
Chhatralaya as well as in the
School w.e.f. 13.06.2003.

The fees
(lavajam) structure
at present
is as
follows as
per the financial
position of the family.
Free, Rs. 50/-, 100/-,
200/-, 400/-, & 600/-. Difference between
what a student pays
and the
maximum rate
is considered,
is an
interest free loan
repayable after
he starts
earning. The average
fees received
per student in Gujrati medium
is about Rs. 150/- and in
English medium it is about 400/-
per month.
Dr.
Chandravadan Haria
was in
Mumbai recently. We met him at his residence. Thereafter, we
invited him to visit
the boarding at a get together on 12.06.2003 About 20 members
were present.
He was
with us
for about
3 hours. Shri Mulchandbhai,
the President
of the
Chhatralaya was
present. There was
useful discussion
about collection and about
education and other
activities. Dr. Haria gave
valuable suggestions for (1)
collection-activities. (2) For collection in
india and abroad. (3)
Empowerment for
the S.S.C. students leaving
Chhatralaya this year.
Dr. Haria called on
Mr. Manilal Lalji Gala one of our dedicated leaders who is convelaseing
at his
residence at Andheri.
