Kojain Youth Committee Goals

·        To collect the information from youth directors and post it on the website. Developing a web site to post the information will be a major link that will connect the youths of North America together. Kojain Youth Committee information pages on Kojain web site exist. An appointed director will coordinate this information.

·        To enhance the communication among the youth directors. One of the channels is yahoo or msn messenger service. To start chat room with specific topic to discuss problems, difficulties and concerns. An appointed youth director can coordinate this activity.

·        To develop information on Kachchh, Kachchhis to understand our rich heritage.

 ·        To gather the newsworthy item for youths like,

§       Research on availability of scholarships for college students.

§       Develop an information center, which will distribute information for youths currently in USA, for our kutchi friends who are in India and wish to come to USA. We will coordinate with the Sewa samaj, Mumbai for this project.

·         To promote charity-work activities by region.

·         To organize Regional picnic and get-together of members. The national gathering would be the next step in this direction by the committee.

·        Pal pen friends from different regions. Develop communication among youth from different regions.

·        To prepare Kachchhi youth to become successful leader and group-worker.

·        To develop two youth groups within youth committee. Age group from 15 to 20 and age group from 21 to 30. At times encourage/organize separate activities for two groups.

·        To develop constitution and governing body of Kojain Youth Committee and formulate structure of governing body under Kojain.

·         To interface with other youth organizations.

·         To update the e-mail list by region and send to one central point

·         Annual get-together by region.
